Our Challenge: A multinational corporation with access to considerable sensitive data faced complex privacy liabilities around the world, where traditional cyber insurers were unable to provide the necessary coverage.
Our Solution: We designed a manuscript global policy that was tailored to the corporation’s unique exposures and geographic footprint. The manuscript policy dovetailed with locally mandated policies to provide comprehensive protection to the company and its clients.
Cut costs, not coverage.
Our Challenge: After a substantial acquisition, a company needed to clean up and consolidate a fragmented and bloated insurance and risk management program.
Our Solution: Altus reduced the headcount in the company’s risk management department from 13 to two, saving approximately $950,000 in payroll and benefits. Simultaneously we enhanced coverages and reduced insurance brokerage expenses by $350,000, collateral by $2,300,000, and premium by $550,000.
Our Challenge: A client’s property sustained approximately $150,000 of water damage during a hurricane. The insurer denied coverage, claiming faulty design and workmanship caused the damage, triggering exclusions within the policy.
Our Solution: Within a day of receiving the insurer’s declination, our team of attorneys began researching state laws and drafting an argument to counter the insurer’s conclusion. In less than two weeks, the insurer acknowledged that the loss was indeed covered under the policy.
